This Phuket water rafting adventure packs a full day of outdoor action into one trip: a 5 km river rafting run, a jungle ATV ride, a zipline over the treetops and a 30-minute elephant experience, with lunch and hotel transfers included. Groups are capped at 10 people, so guides can give everyone proper attention at each stop, whether it’s your first time on a raft or not.
Most rafting trips in Phuket stop at the river. This one is a multi-activity day, so you spend a few hours on the water and the rest of the day on the trails, in the air and in the jungle. If you only want rafting, see our Phuket rafting program or bamboo rafting instead. If you want the full adventure in one day, this is the one.
The rafting run covers about 5 km with a guide steering from the raft, and the safety instructions come before you set off. River levels change with the season: after rain the current is stronger and the rapids are faster, and in the dry months the water is calmer and easier for beginners. For more on what to expect on the water, read our guide to white water rafting in Phuket.
The ATV ride runs for about 30 minutes through jungle trails, with a guide leading the group, and you don’t need previous experience. The zipline is a 150-meter line over the canopy, with a harness and a guide at the platform. If the ATV is what you came for, see our dedicated Phuket ATV tour.
The day also includes a 30-minute elephant experience in the jungle, a stop at Monkey Cave and a visit to a waterfall where you can cool off before heading back. These stops are a calmer break between the more active parts of the day.
Yes. Rafting, ATV and zipline are all led by guides who brief everyone first, so no previous experience is needed. You should be comfortable being active for most of the day, which runs from early morning to late afternoon. It isn’t suitable for travelers with serious back, heart or mobility problems, or for pregnant travelers. Some activities have age and height requirements, usually from around 8 years old, so contact us before booking if you’re traveling with young children.
The tour runs daily. The dry season, roughly November to April, usually means calmer water and easier rafting, while the rainy season brings a faster river and a more adventurous run. If heavy rain makes the river or trails unsafe, the schedule may change, so contact us if the forecast worries you.
Wear sportswear that dries quickly and closed-toe shoes that can get wet and muddy, since you’ll use them for rafting and for the ATV. Bring a change of clothes and a towel for after the water, sunscreen, a hat and sunglasses, and a waterproof pouch for your phone and valuables. Leave anything fragile at the hotel.
It suits adventure lovers, couples, friends and solo travelers who want a lot of activities in one day without arranging each one separately. Families with older children who enjoy active days can join too. Small groups of up to 10 mean less waiting and more time doing things.
This is the full-day combo with rafting, ATV, zipline and an elephant experience. For rafting-only options, see our rafting program and bamboo rafting tours. For a ziplining-focused day, see our Hanuman zipline tour.
